HEY THERE!

My name is Maaike Esman, a 25 year old UI/UX designer from Breda, currently in the final year of my Communication and Multimedia Design (CMD) program at Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences. I am searching for an internship to graduate one that lets me showcase and further develop my talents, especially in user interface design.

I am passionate about designing digital products that not only function beautifully for people but are also visually engaging and intuitive to use. My skillset includes working in Figma, creating thoughtful and accessible designs, as well as bringing a user centered approach to every project.

Currently, I am pursuing a minor through an exchange semester in Copenhagen, Denmark, focusing on Digital Product Development. This experience has helped me grow as a designer, improve my English, and immerse myself in a new culture and environment broadening my perspective on design and creativity.

Previously, I interned at RVO, where I gained valuable real world experience in the field. For my next step, I am looking for a company that values creativity, practical design, and growth somewhere I can both contribute my skills and continue to develop them while completing my bachelor’s degree.
